With Gracia update so close, I keep wondering if my PP (Hierophant now!) is
nerfed and whether I should concentrate on my other toons. I find no answer on that, by I vividly remember a
RealLife comic by Greg Dean I have once read..

Regarding the PP issue: I'm sorry to say but PPs are practically useless in what most live players consider end game. PP buffs are simply not unique and powerful enough to overshadow Warcryers. WCs are just so "bigger, better, faster, more"! CoV wins PoF anytime and no group wants anything less than CoV.
ReplyDeleteThat said, a PP can be used definitely as a box, especially for small parties (like Pagan) or for archer duo. The PP does give adequate buffing in such PvE environments and, of course, the PP can generally be used if no other buffer (read: Warcryer) is available.
So my PP's sub will be a WC..?? ("once a buffer, always a buffer")
ReplyDeleteNot bad, I quite like the idea :) Can a WC play with robes? It would be hard to buy a whole new wordrobe.
Question: what you said about PP/WC is true even in the current patch, no?

Yes, a PP can play with robes and yes, the PP/WC issue is for the current and future situation :)

ReplyDeleteIt's your CRP... but for practical purposes the HP regen is useless compared to the increased mdef.
