I guess the price of B and C crystals will also go down, is this correct?
And if the price of B and C crystals goes down, then the price of A crystals will also go down? Since it will be cheaper to create a kesh*kesh?
NPC prices will be adjusted, so we should just wait till the PTS hits, then we have all answered!
OK, we have answers.
Every item up to and including Top C is in the NPC shops. They even put Homunculus there, to accommodate for the low IQ players, who were paying 2kk or more above its worth.
All Avadon/Zubei stuff and some B grade weapons are in Luxury.
A new item type, "standard", has been introduced. You can get them dirt cheap, but cannot enchant or put LS/SA on them. Who cares?
NPC prices are lower, with zero tax in Giran it is roughly 2150a per C crystal.
All teleports are free for levels 1-40.
Newbie buffs are given for levels 6 to 62, including Haste 2.
Herbs last for 5 minutes.
CONCLUSIONS:
D/C and low B item market is dead.
New live buffers are dead.
The only way to make legit adena in low levels is to do manor.
New players will have a very hard time getting legit adena for their A grade, because the game promotes a "carefree" attitude until the real hammer strikes.
ΑΤΤΕΝΤΙΟΝ
Although I cannot verify this yet, I read in the forums, that the BS of Mammon will now upgrade/exchange all weapons up to Top B Grade.
So the sale value of all Top B grade weapons will fall significantly, as well as the A grade duals,up to Dama*Dama, as they are made from B-grade swords. DO NOT KEEP THEM - SELL ALL WEAPONS UP and INCLUDING TOP B, as well as A Duals up to DAMASCUS*DAMASCUS.
I remind you that in D and C grade, all weapons (including Top-tier) are sold in the NPC shop, so the BS is no longer needed for upgrades...I suppose the BS will still exchange our OE top D&C weapons, if needed.
NEW CRYSTAL PRICES
Here are some rough calculations about new crystal prices after the patch.
- C Crystal
The top C (SLS) costs 5185000 at 0% tax
Suppose the Giran tax is 15%
5185000 * 1.15 /2452 crystals = 2432A cost per C cry
- B Crystal
The Tsurugi costs about 4220000 at NPC shop.
To make B cry
(Tsu*Tsu + 50 SoP fee)
4220000*2+ 500000 = 8940000 ~ 9 M
9000000 / 1157 crystals = 7778A per B Crystal
- A Crystal
The Keshanberk will cost
(579 B * 7778A = 450362 adena) + (1737 C * 2432 Adena = 4224020)= 8727482 Adena total
Same crystal value as Tsu*Tsu and so same adena value, it seems.
To make A cry, crystalize Kesh*Kesh
17.5 M for 2 Kesh + 500k dual stamp + (BS fee 1953000AA) 6M = 24000000
24000000 A / 1464 crystals = 16394 adena per A crystal
CONCLUSION
C crystal =~ 2.5K
B crystal =~ 7.8K
A crystal =~ 16.4 K
(prices could be even lower, when the Giran tax is less than 15%)
Example
Based on the above crystal prices, here is the price drop on B armor (applies for Zubei & Avadon).
The Avadon robe set will cost 291 B-Crystals (2270000a) & 870 C-Crystals (2175000) at the Luxury, which amounts to less than 4.5 Millions
Currently it costs about 18 Millions from PC shops...
Standard Items
Available in NPC stores for D and C grade, is the 'standard' version of lots of equipment; weapons,armor,jewelery.
These you cannot enchant, augment or place a Special Ability. Furthermore their crystal value is proportional to their adena value. So at 0% tax on PTS, I crystalized a BoneBreaker and it results to 595 adena/D crystal, while the standard version results to 630 adena/D crystal.
Last, but not least, is that in armor if you buy standard items, the set bonus does not apply. E.g. the Plated Leather standard set does not provide +4 Strength -1 Con... this is true, even if you get 2 full items and just 1 standard item for the set.
So for armor they are not good. Standard jewels cannot be augmented, so they are not good.
Ofc, if you cannot afford the full version on sth, buy the standard one, but they are vastly inferior.
New Market on Crystals and shots
I checked the crystalization results of D grade items on PTS and realised that the price of D crystals will not go down as much as I thought. A given item is much cheaper, but results in less crystals. A rough calculation is that at 0% tax, a D crystal currently costs 650 adena, and it will go down to 600, not 550 that I thought. Same for the C crystals, I thought they would go down to 2.5K, but they will much closer to 3K... I cannot get the exact facts for C grade and above, as my artisan on PTS is lvl 20 and cannot crystalize C grade. For the B and A crystals, the price drop will be even more significant, and close to my previous post, but probably not exactly as cheap as predicted.
So the shots will get cheaper, especially for B and A grade, but not dirt cheap.
LATEST CRYSTAL PRICES
The crystal count for a given item will be lower than the curent value.
I have verified this now with D and C crystals (my dwarf is lvl 42)
The values for B and A crystals come from reliable posts of players with higher-level dwarfs on PTS
D crystal =~ 595 adena
C crystal =~ 2750 adena
B crystal =~ 9 K
A crystal =~ 17 K
The above prices come from crystalising items bought at Giran with 0% tax.
Last but not least, is that if you should not buy Standard items
for crystalisation as it turns out more expensive. You can buy and crystalise any normal item and the results are about the same for the price per crystal.
