Combined buffs

In this update (Kamael 1,5 - Hellbound), there are some new buffs added which combine the effect of two older ones. The older ones continue to exist unchanged.

In order to learn one of those new/combined buffs, you need to find the adequate Forgotten Scroll and double-click on it. No Spellbook required and no visit to the skill trainer.

Prophet (lvl 70)
Improve Combat: Shield + Might	Crypt Guard , lvl 70, chance 1/262?	Cata of the Witch
Improve Condition: Bless the Body + Bless the Soul	Soldier of Ancient Times, lvl 73, 1/2 hp	Sillent Valley, outside Giant's Cave
Sillien Elder (lvl 70)

Note: The http://www.l2wh.com site mentions very low drop rate for each of those items, however this is not accurate. The database was probably not initialised when the scrolls started dropping, thus it averages many months of previous update (no drops) with few weeks of current update (scrolls dropping).

Hellbound / Kamael Plus is here

OK guys and gals, time to log out. In few hours Teon and the rest of the servers will go down for the long-awaited Kamel+ / Hellbound update. That's 15:00 in Greece - just in case you were wondering..

All servers will be down for the simultaneous launch of the Hellbound update and the Luna server, beginning at 8:00 AM Central Time (2:00 PM GMT +1) on Wednesday, April 23rd. The estimated downtime is approximately six hours.

I hope you have already sold your Karmian gloves, PL boots and the rest of the C-grade items which will now be sold at NPC shops.

A very short reminder:

• The maximum level will now be 85.
• New areas added, including The Tower of steel, where the boss Beleth is located.
• Your main can acquire skills based on your subclass.
• When you reach level 80 on your subclass, you can acquire a class-type-specific transformation skill that can be used while you are set to your main class.
• Top S-grade Weapons and Armor has been added. The grade of the new items is S80.
• And I did mention the Agathions, didn't I?

The list of changes and additions is of course much much longer.

Kamael Plus Soon (indeed!)

As Archmage said in a previous post, the next update is coming soon!

Yesterday tZoNaKoS informed us that the release is probably scheduled for 23/4/2008 - that's less than a week away!

You might want to consider downloading the PTS client during the next days, in order to avoid the long waiting the day of the release. There will be no regular maintenance on Tuesday 22/4/2008.

Luna, the new European server, will go live at the same date. Character transfers will NOT be available to Luna in the beginning. Interesting to stay that character transfers to Teon will be available again in May - few slots every week on a regular base.

A Shillien Saint !

LittleOrc wants to say a very big graatz to beautifull dark elf SofiaGr who finished her third class quest and now is a Shillien Saint.

As Shillien Elder she was one of the best support chars in L2.When party with her you were always buffed, recharged and you hp always up. What else someone need? So it was hard to die when you were with her. Now I suppose it's close to impossible..

I want a Devil Agathion !!

Few days ago (27/3/2008) the new update was made available on the PTS (Public Test Server). It is called The 1st Throne - The Kamael: Hellbound (a.k.a. Kamael+). It has 80+ skills, new armors, weapons, transforms - and of course the new area called Hellbound where Beleth and his minions reside.

The most important part of the new update is the two new Agathions :) :)!!



Remember Agathions? The little fairy-like creatures that fly behind their lucky owners? Currently they are very hard to get! In Hellbound, we get two new ones, Little Angel and Little Devil! These guys accompany you in your adventures, performing a collection of cute tricks on command (some of which have unexpected effects). Agathions will be sold in the Giran Luxury Shop. When you purchase one, you might just get one of these rare and special little guys!

Oh I want one of those..!!!

Addition after the update went live: There is a thread in the lineage2.com forums with lots of info. Some interesting points are: You need (according to Zaniah)

4 Messenger Skeletons in Crystals of Life (I assume Memento Mori)
5 Earth Eggs
5 Nonliving Nuclei

You can purchase the Angel engraved bracelet or a Devil engraved bracelet.

There is a probability you get the Angel/Devil - if you fail, you get a percentage of the ingredients back and probably a little present too. The Angel/Devil is not shadow and it might have an item skill (brez/bsoe/bighead/firework) if you are lucky.
