The announcement, made by Himred himself, reads:
l2wh.com has been started very long time ago, to be precise the 24th of september 2004, I maintain it for more than 5 years now .
The actual traffic of l2wh is very small, (6x lower than AionWh) and is decreasing day after day .
We agree that Lineage II is sloping down, however it is sad to see the best ever resource on the subject stopping.
On a brighter note, the site will not stop working in the near future. But they will be no bug fixes and no additions. And there is a poll open on the subject, which could change things - have a look.

It's interesting to see just how permeant memory has become in our everyday lives. It's like everytime I turn my head, I see something with a card slot or USB jack, lol. I guess it makes sense though, considering how much cheaper memory has become as of late...
Gahhhhh... who am I to complain. I can't get by a single day without my R4 / R4i!
