Pretty slow moving month.. No major updates, no new events, so things have been pretty quite recently.
But it has been a very interesting period for the clan! Recent news include:
1. Zenais has joined the army (dont worry, it's temporary, he will be back soon), so Sarafi has to dualbox both characters in order to make sure that the two kamaels will keep on leveling as fast as before. Zenais is a very lucky guy to have Sarafi helping him ;-)
2. Knulp is back! Do you remember the young sorcerer who usually partied with tiaan? He is back, now wearing B grade and ready to continue his adventures in Aden.
3. Ubba and Chryssa, known to all of us for helping multiple times the clan and even more times a specific clan member (..), have joined Blue some days ago. Maybe they will move to a stronger clan/ally soon, but they will always be considered clan members!

Various game and clan related news:
- NCsoft Corp. and Vivox today announced a partnership to bring full featured voice to the NCsoft player community. Players will have the ability to communicate within and across (across??) NCsoft games via an NCsoft branded game communication portal. I guess this will take some time..
- New community manager at lineage2.com. Siren, the former Senior Lineage II QA Tester, has taken up the role of Associate Community Manager for the NCsoft North American and European departments (ie she will help Alyra). There was a hilarious comment from the Vault staff on the announcement: "Now she'll have plenty of extra free time so that the Vault can steal her for dates, bwuahahah! :) :) Go go Vault :) :)
- The clan has a new member! Angelcry is an Elven Elder lvl 40 from Norway. It's his main and first char, so please everyone provide all the support you can. Especially those two of you (Tiaan, Archmage) who know about EEs!
- There is a new site for (in-game items) auctions, called http://www.l2.mog.tc/. Supposedly it collaborates with instant messaging systems like gtalk. I am trying to test it, but so far there are very few users to have an interesting result.

Dont buy this box!
The brand-new, silky black, huge and sooooo desirable box has finally arrived.
Although NC Soft has announced the circulation of the Limited Collector’s Edition box a week (or more?) ago, it is only today that it finally appeared in the greek e-shops (not that I was looking, ofc).
Found at papasotiriou.gr.
I see no reason to buy this product. We already have our serial numbers (accounts), and we have already updated our clients to the latest version. The box contains:
Who needs the Kamael figurine? Just to add it on his/her desk? And the book.. just another pretty book.. nah. The soundtrack could be cool, but Perseys has already sent us the mp3 files. And I could never bring one of those posters to my office.
It's just that..

The Magic Lollipop. I could use one of those. I am a sucker for lollipops.
I want the box, mainly the art-work book, the lollipop, the mask, the figurine! Everything!
Addition after buying the box: The figurine is tiny and not very stable if you add the wing. It might be hand-painted or not, i wont be sure unless I examine a second one to compare them. The art book is interesting indeed, although small. Imagine a very thin A4 paperback. It has some excellent sketches and some full colour artwork (nice!). It also has images of the new weapons (not very interesting). The posters are indifferent. I need to find out if I can use the in-game items without activating the serial code / new account. I would like to get the in-game items myself and give the serial code and time cards to a friend to start the game. I wonder if this is possible..

Korean random chance
This has been discussed before, but my recent experience was overwhelming. Tried to OE the striped linen shirt. Up to +4 it works as stated... 66% chance of success. Indeed I tried about 14 times and had 9 successes. Then I tried 8 times to OE from +4 to +5 and failed 8 times. The chance is not the expected average of 43%... it is zero 0%
It makes one wonder how those +6 shirts do exist on Teon server. Is there a logical explanation ? I think 8 failures in a row would qualify as negative luck of 1 in millions. I am quite confident now that even if I try 88 times I would get 88 failures.

Combined buffs
In this update (Kamael 1,5 - Hellbound), there are some new buffs added which combine the effect of two older ones. The older ones continue to exist unchanged.
In order to learn one of those new/combined buffs, you need to find the adequate Forgotten Scroll and double-click on it. No Spellbook required and no visit to the skill trainer.
Note: The http://www.l2wh.com site mentions very low drop rate for each of those items, however this is not accurate. The database was probably not initialised when the scrolls started dropping, thus it averages many months of previous update (no drops) with few weeks of current update (scrolls dropping).

Hellbound / Kamael Plus is here
OK guys and gals, time to log out. In few hours Teon and the rest of the servers will go down for the long-awaited Kamel+ / Hellbound update. That's 15:00 in Greece - just in case you were wondering..
All servers will be down for the simultaneous launch of the Hellbound update and the Luna server, beginning at 8:00 AM Central Time (2:00 PM GMT +1) on Wednesday, April 23rd. The estimated downtime is approximately six hours.
I hope you have already sold your Karmian gloves, PL boots and the rest of the C-grade items which will now be sold at NPC shops.

- New areas added, including The Tower of steel, where the boss Beleth is located.
- Your main can acquire skills based on your subclass.
- When you reach level 80 on your subclass, you can acquire a class-type-specific transformation skill that can be used while you are set to your main class.
- Top S-grade Weapons and Armor has been added. The grade of the new items is S80.
- And I did mention the Agathions, didn't I?
